Janelle was reading the local newspaper.

Janelle: Mom?

Me: Yes, baby?

Janelle: I want to read to you what the newspaper says.

Me: okay, go ahead.

Janelle: (reads about a plane crashing and a man intruding into a Judge's home) Mommy?

Me: Yes, Juju?

Janelle: This makes me sad.

Me: I know honey. Me too

Janelle: Why does the newspaper always have bad stuff on the front page?

Me: Good observation. It also has good articles in it too.

Janelle: Yeah, but the good news is in the middle and back. Not on the front.

Me: Unfortunately, the bad news attracts readers more than the good. That's why it is on the front page.

Janelle: That's not nice. Mommy?!

Me: Yes, Juju?

Janelle: I know the Luvaholics wouldn't like this. They would love good news.
