SPEAKING UP
Today, let us talk about: MEANINGLESS RELATIONSHIPS
MEANINGLESS RELATIONSHIPS=
Relationships with no meaning. They tie you down and break your soul with your
permission.
1.
Recognize what is good/bad for you.
A. First and foremost, find
out who your inner self is.
B. Take some time to get to
know you (Find out what you like/dislike).
C. If whatever you partake
in (friendships, relationships, everyday decisions) gives you a bad feeling;
leave it alone.
D. If whatever you partake
in (same as above) gives you a good feeling; stick with it.
2. Relationships
A. Self.
B. Family (parents,
children, cousins, etc…).
C. Significant other.
D. Friends.
E. Coworkers
F. Religious relationships.
G. “Haters”.
3. Self- relationship
A. There are 3 forms of “you”
(The past you, the present you, and the future you).
B. The past you is the biggest teacher for the
present you to make wiser decisions for the future you.
C. Respect yourself enough to let go of any and
everything that holds you down.
D. “Feelings” assist you
with the route you should take to either get away or stay in.
E. Setting up your
priorities is important. It helps you check off what’s more important in your
life.
F. DO NOT let people know
your daily schedule if you have a routine. They will use that to their
advantage.
4. Family, friends,
coworkers, and religious relationships
A. Family will always be
one of the hardest groups of people to deal with when you know for sure that
you need to let go.
B. It is okay to love people
from a distance.
C. If coworkers are not
contributing to the “team” in a positive manner; steer away respectfully.
D. Religion= Remain open
minded. Everyone has an opinion.
E. Friends= can take you
from ALL relationships listed above if you allow them too.
5. Significant Other
A. Before getting into a
relationship, make sure you are ready.
B. When in a relationship,
if he/she is not leading you to the God inside of you…LET GO.
C. If you have doubts,
unanswered questions, bad feelings….LET GO.
D. If you both are bringing
the worst out of one another….LET GO.
6. Haters
A. Haters attempt to steal
your light, in hopes to ignite a fire that they are missing inside.
B. Haters are snakes. They
can be just about any one (Family, Significant other, friends, coworkers,
religious family, etc.).
C. Listen to people when
they tell who they are through their actions.
**Don’t
demolish the set-up created by our Creator. Be thankful and work with
it.
**Like
anything else unhealthy; meaningless relationships can be detrimental to your
health, spirit, emotions, and mind.
