Speaking Up

            Today, let us speak up about: Communication!

1.      Verbal Communication

A.      This may seem like the easiest form of communication. I find it challenging. Too many languages, too many different dialects.

B.      There’s good and bad attitude delivered through words.

C.     Tone of voice

D.     We have to watch the way we speak and the words we speak.

E.      If you have difficulty thinking before speaking; start to imagine every word tattooed on your body. Is that a message or image you want to portray?

2.      Body language

A.      Posture and direction the body is facing is very important.

B.      Eye contact

C.     Good and bad attitude can be delivered through the way we position ourselves.

D.     Appearance is a big deal. The way you present yourself for different occasions can show how serious or unserious you are.

E.      The level of intimacy between partners. One can speak, without speaking ;)

F.      Actions speak louder than words.

3.      Communication of art

A.      Music.

B.      Playing instruments.

C.     Pictures.

D.     Poetry.

E.      Drawings/paintings.

F.      Food.

G.     Letters.

H.     Messages through devices (non-verbal communication).
