        A dear friend once told me something along the lines of: The word “understand” is literally underestimating one’s intelligence!

That definitely makes sense. The word ‘stand’ is the median between under and over if you will. If we ‘under’ stand, we only know enough just to get by.

Do we dare to ‘Over’ stand?

The English language is such a manipulated language. There are so many ways to explain one sentence. It’s probably the reason why lawyers, Insurance companies, banks, etc… get away with so much.
